CreERT2-mediated recombination in excitatory glutamatergic neuron cell bodies of Slc17a6-CreERT2+/-; R26-tdTomato+/- mice. Slc17a6-CreERT2 mice may be used to generate conditional mutations for studying gain-or-loss of function and/or fate mapping related to glutamatergic neurons.
